Since 2008, we have been proud to bring a wide range of heartfelt, thought-provoking and entertaining plays and musicals to Nevada County. However, all good things must come to an end, and we have decided to wind-up operations .
Our friends at InConcert Sierra are currently building a “black box” theatre as part of the new Crown Point Venues. The black box, to be named in memory of Ken Getz, will be an important asset for the local theater community for many years to come. We have an opportunity to support the black box and honor the founders of Sierra Stages, as well as everyone in the community who has contributed to the success of Sierra Stages.
Creating and bringing theater to our community over the past 16+ years has been a great pleasure and honor. We have been privileged to collaborate with hundreds of talented actors, musicians, directors, designers, technical theater folks and production staff and to share our work with enthusiastic and supportive audiences.
